Tom Kastle Tours Coffeyville Week of Oct. 13th for CCC Humanities Series

Tom Kastle comes to Coffeyville the week of October 13th as part of the Coffeyville Community College Humanities Project.

Join Tom Kastle for a look at the waterways of the world from the rivers of the Midwest to the islands of the South Pacific.  Tom is a singer, songwriter, sailor, and teller of the tales who has performed throughout the US, Canada, Europe, and New Zealand.  Kastle is a co-director of the Chicago Maritime Festival, a faculty member of the Old Town School of Folk Music, and the Narrator for the Candid Concert Opera Company.

Kastle's tour in Montgomery County will start on Monday, Oct. 13th at Sycamore Landing and Windsor Place Assisted Living before arriving at the Spencer/Rounds Theatre on the CCC Campus at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct 14th. Kastle will continue his tour of Coffeyville with Windsor Place, Windsor Place SCU and the Medicalodge of Coffeyville on Tuesday afternoon.  Wednesday, Oct 15th, he will entertain residents at Pickwick Place and Asbury Village followed by the students at Caney Valley High School on Thursday, Oct. 16th, and the Caney Nursing Center and Guest Home Estates in Caney on Friday, Oct. 17th.

The public is invited to the 10:30 a.m. Tuesday humanities performances at CCC.  The performances are free and held in the Spencer/Rounds Theatre.  For more information call 620-251-7700 ext. 2145 or 2038.
