Student Success Center

The Student Success Center, which is located on the lower level of the Graham Library, provides tutoring services to all students enrolled at Coffeyville Community College. The primary goal of the center is to help students be successful in college by providing individualized instruction to strengthen academic skills. The center is staffed with three full time professionals, as well as student tutors who have excellent math and English skills and specialize in other subject areas.  In addition to tutoring, the center offers study skill workshops designed to help students improve their study habits as well as test review sessions, and computer access to help students succeed.

The Student Success Center is equipped with many supplemental study aids including computers, educational software, and a variety of other educational media. In addition to the individualized instruction, students can meet with other students for group study sessions which can be set up by making arrangements in advance.

Services Offered

Through the Student Success Center, the College has responded to student needs by formulating a program which includes but is not limited to:

• one-on-one tutoring
• arranging Academic Accommodations to meet students needs
• providing equipment to assist with course work
• addressing certain personal requirements

Online Tutoring

Online tutoring is also available by e-mailing questions to [email protected].  Questions submitted 8:00 a.m. Monday through 4:00 p.m. Friday will receive a response within 24 hours.  Questions submitted after 4:00 p.m.  Friday and before 8:00 am Monday or on school holidays will be answered within 24 hours of the center re-opening.
