I have been a nurse since 2006. After receiving my BSN from MNU, I worked in Pennsylvania for 3 years at Geisinger Medical Center. I spent my time there working on an orthopedic/neurology floor and on the pediatric unit. Upon my return to Coffeyville, I worked at the Coffeyville Family Practice Clinic with Dr. Melissa Mackintosh and Dr. James Christensen. After my time in Family Practice, I went to work at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in the OB department. In 2011, our family moved to NY, where my husband was stationed at Fort Drum with the Army. We spent 3 years there before moving to Manhattan Kansas, where my husband finished out his active duty years at Fort Riley. In 2015, our family moved back to the Caney area, and I worked at Priority Health Urgent Care until August of 2018. It was then that I decided to spend some time working at the Emergency Room for Labette Health in Independence Kansas. I worked at the ER until July of 2023; and it was then that I had the opportunity to come be a part of the family of the Coffeyville Red Ravens! It is my hope that CCC will be where I stay for the rest of my career as a nurse.
