Coffeyville Community College Theatre will present the 17th Annual Student Directed One-Acts on December 3-4 at 7:30 p.m. The plays are free to the public. The Student Directed One-Act Festival is part of the Directing Project class in which the students enrolled learn about stage direction and then stage a ten-minute one-act for their final. This year the productions consists of "The Philadelphia" by David Ives and directed by Zach Bartz with Caleb Coffman, Kolt Schnake and Melaina Walker. "Who’s on First?" by Bud Abbott and Lue Costello will be directed by Marcilinas Asebedos with Dylan Hart and Amos Cupp. "Post Its" by Paul Dooley and Winnie Holzman will be directed by Lauren Curley with Rocky Read and Cheyenne Miller. "The Wedding Story" by Julianne Homokay is directed by Amber Long with Mariah Maitlin, Ian Ewing, and Rebecca Jenicke. A scene from the play, "The Incredible Willy Rivers" by Steven Metcalfe will be directed by Joe Linebarger with Mitch Childrers, Tyler Riedel, and Nick Dahna. "Killers Head" by Sam Shepard is directed by Jake Kaufman with Kody Halfhide, Ian Ewing and Kolt Schnake. "The Unwanted" by Walter Wykes will be directed by Kwamee Boateng with Cheyenne Miller, Rocky Read and Brianna Cordova. Wrapping up the one acts will be "The Best Daddy" by Shel Siverstein and directed by Randy Skidmore with Melaina Walker and Caleb Coffman.
