CCC student Kyle Darnell was selected as the Eta Gamma Chapter’s August Student of the Month.

Officers and members of the Eta Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Coffeyville Community College had the opportunity to meet with the Society’s international Executive Director, Dr. Rod Risley on August 12.

Phi Theta Kappa will sponsor the Car Show on April 28, 2012 at Walter Johnson Park from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Relay for Life.

LaToya Johnson a student at Coffeyville Community College has been named a 2012 Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team Silver Scholar. Latoya Johnson graduated from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville. She is the daughter of Brishawn Johnson and the late Floyd Johnson.

Members of the Eta Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Coffeyville Community College participated in the Kansas Region Phi Theta Kappa Convention March 9-11 at the Double Tree Hotel in Wichita. The event saw members of the local chapter receive six first place trophies and numerous certificates of Honorable Mention and Distinguished Recognition.
