Tristan Zavala of Elk City, Kan. has been named the Eta Gamma Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Member of the Month for February. Zavala is a sophomore communications major and serves the Eta Gamma Chapter as vice president of scholarship. He works in the financial aid department at Coffeyville Community College. In PTK, he has participated in all chapter fundraising activities, and most of the chapter’s service activities such as serving the chicken and noodle luncheons to raise money for the CCC Relay for Life Team and working in the international warehouse of the Operation Christmas Child in Denver, Colo.
