There are a handful of spots still available for the adventure of a lifetime hiking the Grand Canyon.

The Coffeyville Community College chapter of Phi Theta Kappa will be hosting a benefit car show on April 20 at Walter Johnson Park in Coffeyville.

The Cherokee Nation Scholarship Night on April 9 has been rescheduled for April 30.

The Coffeyville Community College Music and Theatre Departments will present "The Wedding Singer" April 18-20. Performances each night begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Spencer/Rounds Theatre on the main campus of CCC. Admission is free. The musical is rated PG-14 for some adult language and adult themes.

Claudia Nygaard is an entertainer known for her quick wit and an affable connection with her audience.

Madison Bush, daughter of Michael and Cathy Bush of Havana, and Julia Reitz, daughter of Richard and Diane Reitz of rural Coffeyville, have been selected Phi Theta Kappa Members of the Month at Coffeyville Community College.

Several groups within the Coffeyville Community College instrumental music department will perform in a concert at CCC on Tuesday, April 2. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. in the Spencer/Rounds Theatre on the main campus of CCC. Admission is free.

The Eta Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Coffeyville Community College was named the top chapter in the Kansas Region at the region convention in Hutchinson at the Ramada Conference Center March 8-10.

Coffeyville Community College will sponsor “Rally in the Valley,” a youth competition and intertribal powwow, on Saturday March 9.

A make-up date for the community interest Landscape class that was canceled due to snow on Feb. 21 has been announced.

Robert Stemmons began whistling at the age of five. When legendary whistler Fred Lowery, who twice headlined at Carnegie Hall, performed at his school, he was mesmerized and inspired.

Sophomore Karen Stoehr was named Phi Theta Kappa Student of the Month for February at Coffeyville Community College.

As a young guitarist, Tom Page fell under the spell of a local art band, The Embarrassment, and began to set the stage for a cutting-edge music scene that thrives to this day.

The Eta Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Coffeyville Community College was represented at The University of Tulsa’s Presidential Lecture Series by chapter vice president of communications Laura Lyons.

Fisher's Tales to Entertain

Connie Neil Fisher’s life in public service lends itself well to his newest pastime of telling tales.

Coffeyville Community College sophomores Caitlin Shepard and Aaron Neely were among the fifty Kansas community college students honored as members of the 2013 All-Kansas Academic Team.

Coffeyville Community College Music and Theatre Departments will hold auditions on Tuesday night, Feb. 12, for "The Wedding Singer".

Jane Godfrey began singing harmonies with her sisters and brothers further back than memory serves her.
