Anna Stange comes to Coffeyville the week of November 3rd as part of the Coffeyville Community College Humanities Project.
Stange is a folksinger and traveler that grew up in a small town in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. She has traveled extensively including four continents and all but two states within the United States. Stange’s musical journey began with the piano, followed by the trumpet, and now guitar. Her performance shares her love of music and travel in the entertaining and engaging hands-on program of stories, music, and culture of Russia.
Stange's tour in Montgomery County will start on Monday, Nov. 3rd at Sycamore Landing and Windsor Place Assisted Living before arriving at the Spencer/Rounds Theatre on the CCC Campus at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4th. Stange will continue her tour of Coffeyville with Windsor Place, Windsor Place SCU and the Medicalodge of Coffeyville on Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday, Nov. 5th, she will entertain residents at Pickwick Place and Asbury Village followed by the students at Caney Valley High School on Thursday, Nov. 6th, and the Caney Nursing Center and Guest Home Estates in Caney on Friday, Nov. 7th.
The public is invited to the 10:30 a.m. Tuesday humanities performances at CCC. The performances are free and held in the Spencer/Rounds Theatre. For more information call 620-251-7700 ext. 2145 or 2038.
