Rod Sipe has been performing as a professional entertainer for over 30 years. Surrounded by the history of the family’s “The Great Patterson Shows,” Sipe was inspired to present acts of the circus sideshows. Celebrating those sideshows, Sipe’s show now includes illusions, sleight of hand, stand-up comedy, fire-eating, circus sideshow feats and a lot of audience participation.
Sipe grew up in Paola, Kansas where the family home was the former winter quarters of “The Great Patterson Shows” from 1912 until 1929. As a base of operations beginning in the 1960’s, the Sipe family used the location for their carnival concession business and lastly Rod Sipe framed his traveling shows there until the mid-90s.
Sipe has performed from coast to coast with a notable performance on the current season of “America’s Got Talent.”
