Jim Hall and Cindy Morgan have been playing music together since 1997 as a duo and in their band, Mingled Circumstances, performing a variety of folk, bluegrass, old-time, blues, traditional and contemporary music. As a duo, Hall and Morgan create an intimate and personal sound, emphasizing tight vocal harmonies, strong lyrics and varied instrumentation.
Hall and Morgan use acoustic instruments, including guitar, mandolin, clawhammer, banjo, fiddle, harmonica and concertina. Their music might best be described as Americana with contemporary touches. They have produced “The Real Deal,” a collection of 15 songs representing a sampler of their music recorded live and “Sea of Dreams,” featuring lullabies and laments growing out of the “Love, Loss & Forgiveness” project.
Hall and Morgan’s tour in Montgomery County will start on Monday, March 11th at the Coffeyville Meal Site, Sycamore Landing and Windsor Place Assisted Living before arriving at the Spencer/Rounds Theatre on the CCC Campus at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12th.
