Coffeyville Community College Theatre has cast two of its Spring plays. The first production, A Night of Moliere One-Acts, will present two one-act comedies, "The Jealous Husband" and "The Flying Doctor." This production will be presented as a reader's theatre directed by Bethanie Frank and performed February 2-4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Spencer Rounds Theatre. The production will be free.
The cast includes for "The Jealous Husband": Mark Frank as Le Barbouille, Mariah Lovett as Angelique, Dylan Hart as Gorgibus, Ian Ewing as Valere, Brittney Anderson as Cathau, Quenton Todd as The Scholar, Austin Baughman as Villebrequin, Tim Burns as La Vallee and Ashley Lundblade as the Narrator.
"The Flying Doctor" cast includes Dylan Hart as Gorgibus, Mariah Lovette as Lucile, Brittney Anderson as Sabine, Ian Ewing as Valere, Quenton Todd as Sganarelle, Austin Baughman as Gros and Rene, Tim Burns as the Lawyer and Ashley Lundblade as the Narrator. Karsyn King is the stage manager for the production.
The second play, Keely and Du, will be presented May 2-4 at 7:30 p.m. and is also free to the public. The production will be directed by Mark Frank and the cast includes: Ashley Lundblade as Du, Brittney Anderson as Keely, Dylan Hart as Walter, Colton Grant as Cole, Ian Ewing as a prison guard, Jacob Pribble and Tim Burns as Oderlies. The stage manager is Samantha Lambert.
