2013 Student Directed One Act Plays Photo Album
"Sharp Words, etc.," the student-directed one acts, feature three short plays by Minneapolis playwright Adam Sharp, a graduate of Southwestern College in Winfield, and a fourth play by Floyd Dell.
Sharp's plays included in the production set for 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 and 6 in the Spencer / Rounds Performing Arts Theatre are "Where's the Fire?," directed by sophomore Justin Mostoffa, "Teacher Boot Camp," directed by sophomore Brianna Spence, and "The E-Word," directed by sophomore Sky Birdcreek. Also included is a fourth short play, "Enigma" by Dell, directed by sophomore Cassie Wesson.
In addition to the four 10-minute plays, the night's bill also features a character study of Blanche Dubois from "A Streetcar Named Desire" as performed by sophomore Kristen Chesnutt, and the Irene Ryan acting packages of freshman Taylor Stringer and her partner Lonnie Wash and sophomore Cooper Smart and his partner Kiefer Lawson.
The cast for "Where's the Fire?" includes Katiemay Biggerstaff, Kiefer Lawson and Jarod Taylor.
The cast for "Teacher Boot Camp" features Jarod Taylor, Trinnie Bush, Lonnie Wash and Bailey Kabrey.
The cast for "The E-Word" includes Ricky Pugh, Kylie Smith, Justin Mostoffa and Alex Andonian.
And, the cast for "Enigma" features Austin Smith and Megan Woodfield.
The stage manager is Linelle Wilson, assisted by Natalie Martinez, with Spencer Potter on lights and Brandon Gaston on sound.
The production is open to the public and admission is free.
