Jesus Medina, an education major at CCC, was selected as the September Member of the Month by the Eta Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Coffeyville Community College. Phi Theta Kappa is the International Honor Society of the two-year community college and vocational technical schools. Medina was selected for his work in developing a PowerPoint presentation on the Phi Theta Kappa and the Eta Gamma Chapter. The program will be available to area high school honor societies.
Medina works at the Boys & Girls Club and is a translator/ESOL tutor for USD 445. He is the son of Aurora and Humberto Medina of Coffeyville, KS.
