Eric Lambert has been playing guitar professionally for over forty years. Influenced by Duane Allman and Dickey Betts at an early age, Lambert discovered country and bluegrass music through the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band album "Will the Circle Be Unbroken."
Lambert crafted his unique voice as an acoustic guitarist blending the bluegrass approaches of Tony Rice, Clarence White and Norman Blake with those of his main influences B.B. King, Jerry Garcia, the Grateful Dead and the Old & In the Way.
Lambert has played in ten countries as a solo artist and with countless ensembles. He has recently devoted his time to teaching, recording and playing bluegrass fulltime. He has three solo releases out on his own label, Woodpicker Music, and teaches many styles of guitar through the Chicago area. He has been featured in Flatpicking Guitar Magazine.
