Tim Southwick Johnson is an accomplished performer on the acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, tenor guitar, ukulele and harmonica. His original songs are based on a wide range of musical styles and are delivered during engaging performances. It is not uncommon for him to bring the songwriting process to the stage and compose on the spot.
Johnson has performed in 28 states and was a founding member of the band Famous Vacationers. He was a former member of Mercury/Columbia recording artists Heartsfield. His latest album was based on the Aldo Leopold book "A Sand County Almanac." The CD "Sand County Songs" was released in December of 2011.
Johnson’s tour in Montgomery County will start on Monday, February 27th at the Coffeyville Meal Site, Sycamore Landing and Windsor Place Assisted Living before arriving at the Spencer/Rounds Theatre on the CCC Campus at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28th. Johnson will continue his tour of Coffeyville with Windsor Place, Windsor Place SCU and the Medicalodge of Coffeyville on Tuesday. Wednesday he will entertain residents at Pickwick Place, Asbury Village and the Dale Apartments followed by the students at Caney Valley High School on Thursday and the Caney Nursing Home and Guest Home Estates in Caney on Friday.
