David Drake will present his “What a Wonderful World” environmental program of songs for the earth, about other cultures and “recycled” sing-alongs. Drake is recognized as an outreach educator for the Great Lakes and performed for many nature centers and environmental organizations including Greenpeace and the World Sing-Out for Peace.
The Wisconsin Area Music Industry named Drake the Folk Music Artist of the Year and Family Music Artist of the Year. Drake has been called a “gentle troubadour” and an “elemental folksinger”. In each performance, Drake blends his love of the earth and good work into his original songs and the folk song tradition.
