Coffeyville Community College recognized Aaron Neely as the February Phi Theta Kappa Member of the Month at their monthly Board of Trustees meeting. Neely is a very active member of the Eta Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. He will run for the Kansas Region Phi Theta Kappa Presidency at the Kansas Region Convention March 9th-March 11th. He is currently working on his campaign poster, brochure, and a speech on the Culture of Competition in preparation for the Kansas Region Election.
While at CCC, Neely is also a manager for the rodeo team and serves as a student ambassador. Neely was also recognized on the President’s 4.0 Honor Roll for his first semester at CCC.
Neely graduated from Seaman High School in Topeka, Kansas, and is the son of Tom and Becky Neely. Neely is majoring in history and math and plans to transfer to Washburn University after graduating from Coffeyville Community College. After obtaining his degree, he would like to teach, but also has a genuine interest in politics.
