The rain looks to be staying away, so Coffeyville Community College would like to invite the community to Red Raven Holiday on Friday, November 21st from 5-8 p.m. The campus will be aglow with holiday decorations and activities for children of all ages. Activities that night will include decorating gingerbread cookies, marshmallow roasting, a visit from Santa Claus, and two performances of “A Very Hairy Christmas”. The event is free to the public.
The CCC Theatre Department is proud to announce the cast of A Very Hairy Christmas, a children’s play in one act with music. Ricky Pugh, a sophomore from Coffeyville is Ben; Katiemay Biggerstaff, a sophomore from Caney is Grace; Megan Woodfield, a sophomore from Salina is Jordan; Linelle Wilson, a sophomore from Wyandotte, KS is Bigfoot; Terran Gorges, a sophomore from Garden Plain, KS is Bigfoot Hunter; Clint Thomas, a sophomore from Lenapah, OK is DIM; Chance Owen, a freshman from Caney is Dimmer; Jarod Taylor, a sophomore from Wann, OK is Ace Reporter; Carol Hills, a freshman from Coffeyville is Reporter No. 2; and the Chorus of Reporters includes Amy Adams, a freshman from Delaware, OK; Heather Hoffmann, a sophomore from Moundridge, KS, and Hannah Emberton, a freshman from Coffeyville.
Red Raven Holiday will begin at 5 p.m. Theatre performances are at 6 and 8 p.m. on November 21th in the Spencer/Rounds Performing Arts Theatre. Admission is free. “A Very Hairy Christmas” written and directed by Allen Twitchell, CCC theatre instructor. John Gray, CCC vocal music instructor, is musical director with Kristi Reedy as accompanist. Rocky Read, sophomore from Altamont, will be leading the technical crew.
