The Coffeyville Community College Foundation will host the 30th Annual Scholarship Endowment Auction on Saturday, May 2 at 4:30 p.m. at Nellis Hall West. All proceeds from this event benefit the CCC Foundation endowed scholarships. These scholarships assist students in achieving their educational goals at CCC.
This year’s auction will feature over fifty live auction items, including a John Deere riding mower, custom quilt by Marilyn Wulf, Elle set Rose Quartz necklace with genuine ruby and earrings, outdoor fireplace, Kansas City fun package (includes four Royals tickets, $75 to Joe's Kansas City BBQ, 2 massages at Massage Heights Ward Parkway), American Beauty rifle, Henry 30-30 brass buttplate rifle, Yetti cooler, Hobbit children's playhouse, Thompson Brother's ESAD Mig Welder, Great Wolf Lodge package, and a Haymaker's inlaid wood tea cart. Over 300 items will be available for silent auction.
The doors will open at 4:30 p.m. with dinner at 5:30 p.m. and the live auction beginning at 7 p.m. The menu includes pulled pork, brisket, and chicken. A variety of desserts will also be offered, including cupcakes by Megan Rolls.
In celebration of the 30th year of the auction, the donors who have endowed scholarships will be honored. Come dressed in your favorite Red Raven sport attire or something red. The evening will begin at 4:30 p.m. with appetizers served at 5 p.m. and dinner at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
