Coffeyville Community College will host the quarterly Kansas Association of Community College Trustees (KACCT) meeting December 8 and 9 at the main campus. The mission of KACCT is to build better futures through cooperation, collaboration and communication in advocating on behalf of community colleges; to position community colleges to better serve Kansas constituencies.
More than sixty trustees and administrators from across the state are planning to attend. Southeast Kansas legislators will also be here to join discussions regarding education issues facing community colleges in Kansas.
"We are very pleased to host this quarterly KACCT meeting on our campus,” said CCC President Linda Moley. “We have not hosted the 19 Kansas community college Presidents and Trustees since 2004, and we are really looking forward to welcoming them back to our campus and the Coffeyville community."
When not in meetings, attendees will have an opportunity to explore the community and visit our historic attractions.
