The Coffeyville Community College chapter of Phi Theta Kappa will be hosting a benefit car show on April 20 at Walter Johnson Park in Coffeyville.
Registration will begin at 12 noon and the first 25 registered participants will receive a dash plaque. Every registered participant will receive a free lunch.
Registration will cost $20 and each contestant will be given a number so their car can be judged. Judging ends at 2 p.m. and winners will be announced at 4 p.m. Contestants must have their cars present during judging time to be considered for awards.
Awards at this year's show include first, second and third place in the judged competition. Other awards are People's Choice, Best Paint and Coolest Wheels. There will also be a 50/50 pot. All proceeds benefit the college's Relay for Life team and the American Cancer Society.
