Coffeyville Community College will host high school juniors from area high schools who are interested in attending college on April 16 at the annual Junior Day. Registration starts at 10 a.m. and the main event will begin at 10:30 a.m. in Nellis Hall – West Gym on the main campus of CCC. Students will explore over 25 academic programs, activities and educational exhibits.
In addition to activities, technical and traditional educational programs will be available to discuss career options and educational goals with the students. Students will also enjoy performances by the Red Raven Spirit Squads and CCC Band.
“Junior Day is a great opportunity for students to learn more about what CCC has to offer,” said CCC Recruiter Chris Cameron. “They have the opportunity to explore our technical programs like Auto Service, Nursing or EMT/Paramedic and visit with activities to learn more about the programs and scholarships available. Overall it is a great event for high school juniors who are beginning to explore the college options available to them.”
