Looking for an excuse to jump off the couch and improve your health! Coffeyville Community College has the class for you! Circuit Training class is designed for improving cardiovascular fitness and muscle tone. It may also lower blood pressure, decrease body fat, and improve stress management. Circuit training utilizes weight lifting and cardiovascular activities with the understanding and application of fitness components.
Denise Smith will be the instructor for the course. Smith has a B.S. and M. Ed. in Physical Education. She will work with students’ individual needs to develop an exercise program that works for you. The objective of the Circuit Training class is to evaluate and determine individual levels of fitness and work to improve overall fitness for each student. The goal is for students to take an active part in developing and sustaining their fitness level for life-time good health.
This class will start on October 16th and will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 p.m. This class costs $5 per session.
