Coffeyville Community College is thrilled to announce that The Raven Talk will be open to the community on Monday, November 18th, at 6:00 p.m. in Spencer Rounds Theatre. This event will feature Oliver Littlecook Jr., an esteemed cultural consultant in Osage and Ponca music.
Oliver Littlecook Jr. served as the Osage and Ponca Music Consultant for the acclaimed film Killers of the Flower Moon, lending his expertise to ensure authenticity and respect for Indigenous music and traditions. His work has played a vital role in preserving and sharing the rich heritage of the Osage and Ponca peoples, and attendees will have the rare opportunity to hear about his experiences in the film industry and his contributions to cultural preservation.
