Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) and Student Life at Coffeyville Community College are joining forces to make a positive impact in our community, and we need your help! We invite everyone to contribute to the PTK and Student Life Food Drive by donating essential items at two upcoming sports events in November. Your generosity can truly make a difference in the lives of those experiencing hunger and homelessness.
Support this meaningful cause by attending these thrilling events:
Basketball Games at Nellis West Gymnasium
- Date: Saturday, November 5th
- Time: 5:30 p.m. - Women’s Basketball Game, 7:30 p.m. - Men’s Basketball Game
- Location: Nellis West Gymnasium
Football Game at Veterans Memorial Stadium
- Date: Saturday, November 9th
- Time: 1:00 p.m. - CCC vs. Independence
- Location: Veterans Memorial Stadium
Our goal is to gather non-perishable food items and other essentials for those facing difficult times in our community. Your contributions can bring hope and comfort to individuals and families in need. We encourage everyone to participate by donating at one or both of these exciting events.
Suggested Donation Items Include:
- Food: Canned vegetables, soups, fruits, pasta, rice, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, and oatmeal
- Toiletries: Toothpaste, soap, shampoo
- Warm Items: Blankets, coats, and other warm clothing
All donations will be distributed to local shelters and food banks, extending a helping hand to those in need. If you cannot attend the games but would still like to contribute, we welcome drop-off donations at the Information Desk located in the Student Union from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., throughout Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.
