Coffeyville Community College is thrilled to announce a special event taking place on campus this Thursday, May 9th, at approximately 10:00 AM. The Kansas National Guard will be landing a Black Hawk helicopter on our green space located north of the student union and east of the residence halls.
This event presents a unique and exciting opportunity for our EMT and paramedic students, as well as local emergency services personnel who have been invited to join us. At approximately 10:15 AM, representatives from the Kansas National Guard will be conducting a presentation on their medevac opportunities.
This presentation will offer valuable insights into the medevac operations and opportunities available within the Kansas National Guard. Attendees can expect to gain a deeper understanding of the crucial role played by medevac teams in emergency medical services, as well as the career paths available to those interested in this field.
"We are honored to host the Kansas National Guard for this special event," said Ryan McCune, Vice President for Student Services/Deputy Title IX Coordinator at Coffeyville Community College. "This presentation promises to be informative and beneficial for those considering a career in emergency medical services. We encourage all interested individuals to join us for this unique opportunity."
