300+ students from all over the SEK region participated in CCC's JR/SR Day.

Coffeyville Community College set a new record for JR/SR Day with over 300 participants. Students came from the SEK region, Olathe, Wichita, Oklahoma, and Missouri. “I have been part of this Institution for over 30 years. It makes me proud to see so many students exploring the educational opportunities provided at Coffeyville Community College” said, Dr.
Marlon Thornburg.

The Loud and Proud CCC Athletic Band welcomed students as they entered Nellis West
gymnasium. A pep rally kicked off the events by the cheer and dance teams. CCC President, Dr. Marlon Thornburg welcomed students to campus and provided an overview of the Institution. Following a brief introduction to the various athletic/activity programs, students were divided into ten groups and rotated through a schedule of campus tours, cafeteria dining, and one-on-one program interaction.

Ashley Beurskens, CCC Recruiter said, “Whether a student is pursuing a technical career, looking to obtain their associate's degree, or simply complete their general education requirements before moving on to the university level, Coffeyville Community College is equipped to meet the needs of today’s student.”
