Coffeyville Community College experienced a 5.57% increase in student enrollment for the Fall 2017 semester. CCC reported a 20th day semester headcount total of 1,802 students, an increase of 95 students over Fall 2016. According to the Kansas Board of Regents, CCC's enrollment increase was the third highest among the state's public community colleges. Overall, state community colleges showed a 2% decrease in student headcount from the previous year.
“CCC attributes this growth to a renewed focus on recruitment and retention, committed and caring faculty and staff, and the mission of providing a quality, affordable education,” said Yvonne Hull, Senior Director of College Relations, Marketing and Recruitment. “Additionally, over 50% of our students come from Montgomery County and more than 75% are Kansas residents.”
