Once a RAVEN Pledge
At Coffeyville Community College, we are committed to providing a safe educational environment and are taking steps to protect others. We are asking all Ravens to take responsibility for your own health and help to keep the Raven Family safe by stopping the spread of COVID-19 and other infections.
I voluntarily commit to:
Care for myself
- Monitor for COVID-19 symptoms including: a fever of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher, dry cough, difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.
- Report any COVID-19 symptoms to the CCC Student Health Nurse, Athletic Training staff, Human Resource Office, or another medical professional immediately.
- Wash my hands often with soap and water and use hand sanitizer frequently.
- Be honest and forthcoming with the CCC Student Health Nurse, Athletic Training staff, CCC administration, or other medical professionals if I have been exposed to COVID-19 or am experiencing any symptoms.
- Get vaccinated for the flu each fall.
- Know campus health and well-being resources and access them when needed.
- Avoid prolonged contact with others to help limit potential exposure.
Care for fellow Ravens
- Maintain appropriate social distancing at all times, especially in the classroom, high traffic areas, or in the presence of higher-risk employees or community members.
- Stay home if I feel sick, or after exposure to someone who is sick, or has tested positive for COVID-19.
- Wear an appropriate face covering and other protective gear as directed by the college.
- Do not share food or drinks (e.g. water bottles, cups, etc.)
- Avoid prolonged contact with others to help limit potential exposure.
- Stay positive, sensitive, and helpful to anyone around me who may be troubled or struggling.
Care for Coffeyville and surrounding communities
- Keep my clothing, belongings, personal spaces, and shared common spaces clean.
- Avoid prolonged contact with others to help limit potential exposure.
- Limit shopping activities to avoid high traffic areas in an effort to reduce potential exposure.
- Participate in COVID-19 testing and contact tracing to preserve community wellness as requested.
- Follow all college policies and procedures regarding COVID-19 and other infections.
- Abide by all city, county, and state guidelines, including self-quarantine and self-isolation procedures, to protect the Coffeyville community.
