The CCC Columbus Technical Campus lent a helping hand in providing time and materials for a seatbelt awareness campaign in Cherokee County. Cherokee County's "seatbelts are for everyone" program, otherwise known as "S.A.F.E.", travels from different schools using a simulation chair.
Todd Madl, Welding Instructor, built the frame and back plate for the seat. Hal Daniels, Collision Repair Instructor and his students painted the frame and the back plate. Kari Soper, Business and Computer Technology Instructor and Chris Herndon, business and computer student from Chetopa, Kan., provided the vinyl decals for the back citing the donors to the S.A.F.E. initiative.
