Coffeyville Community College,Columbus Technical Campus, Collision Repair Program will host an Airbrush Seminar on November 9 and 10. Mickey Harris, a world renowned airbrush artist, will be teaching the seminar. Harris, who has been painting for more than 30 years, has produced thousands of murals on metal. He has won worldwide acclaim for his artistry and appeared in numerous publications. This seminar is a great opportunity to learn airbrush techniques used by professionals. The Beginners class will be held November 9 and Advanced (Skulls and Bones) on November 10 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The classes start with learning basic strokes and gun control, very informative for the inexperienced. Classes are full of little tidbits of knowledge and technique in the advanced class for those more experienced. Both can be a great learning experience no matter your skill level, and the participants have a blast while they learn a skill.
All materials are supplied with individual airbrushes for each student to receive hands-on training. The seminar will be held at the CCC-Columbus campus at 509 W. Elm in Columbus, Kan. Please pre-registrar by November 4. For more information, call 620-429-3896 or 1-800-208-8324.
