The 2013 Skills-USA State Competition was April 25-26 in Wichita, Kansas. Skills-USA is a national non-profit student organization serving teachers, high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled services. Coffeyville Community College, Columbus Technical Campus students competed against technical students from across the state.
CCC-Columbus Technical students placed in the following categories: In Auto Parts Management - 2nd Place for Eric Bruton, Columbus High School and 3rd Place for Colt Scholes, post-secondary division. In the Vehicle Written category- 2nd Place for Bruton and 3rd Place for Austin Reed from Riverton High School.
