In a partnership between Independence Community College and Coffeyville Community College, a revolutionary new approach to entrepreneurship education will be offered on the Coffeyville Community College Technical Campus next semester as part of the Successful Entrepreneur Program at Independence Community College.

Coffeyville Community College is accepting applications to the Nursing Program until October 12, 2012. Students who are accepted will being their Nursing course work in January of 2013.

Regent Tim Emert visited with College administrators regarding the challenges facing the institution.

The Coffeyville Community College Technical Campus has announced that they are still accepting students for Automotive Service, Construction and Information Technology.

Coffeyville Community College in conjunction with the Coffeyville Area Chamber of Commerce will host the second annual Business Showcase for Students on September 12, 2012.

Coffeyville Community College recently released honor rolls for the Spring 2012 semester.

Coffeyville Community College and Southwire Company are working together to train First Responders for community and plant safety.

Coffeyville Community College is proud to announce that over 250 students are eligible to graduate this spring. The graduation ceremony will take place on May 12th at 10 a.m. in the west gym of Nellis Hall at the CCC campus.

Writer Scott Thomas will be the CCC Graduation Speaker on May 12, 2012. Thomas is a CCC Alumnus and is the son of Sherry Thomas and the late Warren Thomas.

The Coffeyville Community College Board of Trustees, employees and students celebrated with the Chamber of Commerce at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly constructed Multipurpose Building at the Dick Foster Athletic Complex.

Coffeyville Community College will launch their Fire Science Program this summer. With the help of Chief James Grimmett as the Primary Instructor, Fire Fighter I will kick off on July 2nd.

The Coffeyville Community College Technical Campus had several students in the automotive service and collision repair programs compete at the State Skills USA Contest in Wichita.

Coffeyville Community College will host the North American Colleges & Teachers of Agriculture (NACTA) Judging Conference April 12-14, 2012. With the help of local volunteers and sponsors, CCC will host 13 contests that will test student skills in the agricultural field.

The Electrical Tech Program has acquired a conveyor trainer system through a grant to enhance industrial electrical lessons, including pneumatic, VFD, and PLC controls.

Jason Bolt, CCC Paramedic Instructor, has been appointed to the Kansas EMS Education Task Force.

Marlon Thornburg was named Citizen of the Year at the Coffeyville Chamber Annual Banquet on January 26, 2012.

A total of 97 students completed degree requirements at Coffeyville Community College this past fall semester.

Coffeyville Community College is proud to announce the recent accreditation of the Medical Assistant Program offered at the Coffeyville Technical Campus.

The judges ate their way through several groups of tailgaters on Saturday night at the Veterans Memorial Stadium parking lot and after careful deliberation, the judges selected the top three in the student division and the open division.

Coffeyville Community College will host a College Planning Conference on October 18, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The event will be held in Nellis Hall.
