Coffeyville Community College EMT students traveled to Concordia, Kan. on January 7th to participate in the National Registry of EMT Practical Boards. A total of ten students, six from the Coffeyville campus and four from the Allen Community College (ACC) campus, participated and passed the full-day exam. Passage of this round of testing brings the CCC EMT program to a 100% passage rate for five consecutive semesters.
“CCC partnered with ACC in the Fall of 2016 to address the emergency medical training needs of those in Allen County and the surrounding area,” said Lisa Miller, Health and Emergency Services Director. “We are pleased to know that whether the training for this program is conducted on our campus, or on a satellite campus, it is true to the standards set by the National Registry of EMTs."
