The Grand Opening of Coffeyville Community College’s new Industry Training Center at 1907 W. 4th Street was held on Wednesday, November 5th at 10:00 a.m. The Coffeyville Chamber of Commerce was in attendance for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
“We are very pleased with the support being demonstrated by our area business and industry leaders for this project,” said Yvonne Hull, Director of Business & Employee Skills Training for CCC. “Our goal is to be a resource and industry training leader for this area. The Industry Training Center moves us closer to making this a reality of better serving our industry partners.”
The Industry Training Center features a lecture lab and a computer lab. While the focus is on providing safety and re-certification training for area industry, the new center also allows flexibility in providing customized training to meet individual and industry needs.
