Two automotive service students at the Coffeyville Community College (CCC) Technical Campus placed at the Kansas State SkillsUSA Championships.
Treg Easley won the gold medal for placing first in the Automotive Parts Management contest. Easley is a freshman from Oswego, Kan.
Teammate Cory Chapman placed ninth in the Automotive Service Tech contest. Chapman is a sophomore from Independence, Kan.
Both automotive students competed in the "Post-High" division. This division is for post-secondary students attending programs at a community college or technical school. SkillsUSA also offers a high school division for current high school students.
The advisors for the CCC Technical Campus SkillsUSA program are Roy Shafer, automotive technology instructor, and Clarence Ray, construction technology instructor.
