Automotive Technology Instructor Roy Shafer was recognized with a medallion from ASE for his 25+ years of continuous certification as an ASE Certified Mechanic. Shafer was first certified by ASE in 1976 and has maintained his certifications for the last 36 years. This is a new recognition program that ASE started this year, according to ASE.
