Four Coffeyville Community College students placed in competitions at the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.
Kristi Jacobs, a Caney student, Cindy Hurd, South Coffeyville, and Kara Bidleman, Coffeyville, placed third in the Presentation Management Team Event. Hurd also placed sixth in Application Interview Skills.
Jeremy Willard, Neodsha, placed eighth in Network Administration Using Microsoft and placed ninth in PC Servicing and Troubleshooting. Willard also completed a successful year as Parliamentarian for the national Business Professionals of America.
Business Professionals of America is the leading CTSO (Career Technical Student Organization) for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology and other related career fields.
“I want to thank everyone for their support to these students who went,” said CCC Business Professionals of America sponsor Tina Logan. “Lots of fundraising and all the t-shirt orders we had - without it this experience for these students would not have been possible.”
