The Coffeyville Community College LPN program received notification that it ranks as the number five best nursing program in Kansas by TopNursing.org.
The ranking methodology by TopNursing.org uses a variety of factors including architecture, facilities, faculty, technology, infrastructure, opportunities and U.S. News and World Report data.
"The main purpose of our ranking is to help students, parents, nurses, veterans, professionals, and web visitors find the best nursing schools in the state of Kansas," said Helena Parker of TopNursing.org.
"We were excited to hear the news of our top five placement for our second year now," said CCC Director of Nursing Heather Pollet. "Our seasoned faculty work diligently to ensure our students receive a top quality education in both their theory courses as well as their clinical experiences, leading to successful NCLEX licensure exam results."
"We are proud that we currently have a 100% pass rate on national licensure for both the PN and RN programs. We also have a 100% job placement rate with many of our graduates accepting positions prior to graduation with area healthcare facilities. Our success is due to our dedicated faculty and hard-working students," Pollet added.
