What is the minimum number of hours that a driver-trainee must spend on the Theory instruction?
- FMCSA does not have a minimum number of hours you must take for Theory or Behind- the-Wheel. You must receive a score of at least 80 percent to pass.
What is Range Instruction?
- Driver-trainee must demonstrate proficiency in all elements of the Behind-the-Wheel curriculum, including parallel parking, straight line backing and offset backing.
What is Public Road Instruction?
- Multiple topics are taught including topics including shifting/transmission, communications, visual search, speed and space management, and safe driver behavior
What is the CDL pass rate?
- 100%. CDL-A program students completed the CCC CDL course and obtained the CDL-A or CDL-B license through CCC.
How much will I make?
- First year drivers could earn up to $50k per year. According to Indeed.com, the salary for a truck driver is from $41k to $229k, with an average salary of $97k per year. (Sept. 9, 2024)
