All Campuses Closed Thursday, Feb. 20th, Due to Winter Weather Conditions

In response to the winter weather conditions, Coffeyville Community College (CCC) will close all campuses on Thursday, Feb. 20th. Classes will be held virtually. Check your student email and Brightspace for additional information from your faculty.

Basketball make-up games at Nellis Hall on Thursday, Feb. 20th, will go as scheduled.

The college leadership appreciates the understanding and cooperation of the CCC community during this temporary closure.

Staying Safe in Extreme Cold
With temperatures expected to reach dangerous lows, please take the following precautions:

  • Limit outdoor exposure: If you must go outside, dress in layers, cover exposed skin, and wear insulated gloves and boots.
  • Stay dry: Wet clothing loses insulation, increasing the risk of hypothermia and frostbite.
  • Keep your living space warm: Use safe heating methods; never use appliances or open flame for heat.
  • Check on others: Ensure that family, friends, and neighbors—especially older adults—are safe and warm.
  • Be prepared: Have emergency supplies, including blankets, flashlights, food, and water, in case of power outages.

Stay warm and safe, and we look forward to resuming normal operations soon!
