Information Technology Program
Students will receive hands-on experience in learning Microsoft NT, Cisco, and Novell networking standards, wide area networking (WAN) and local area networking (LAN). Students will be given instruction in the skills necessary for dealing with customers and customer networking problems in a business situation.
Successful completion of one of the following is required to enroll in this program: CCC/ATS Computer Repair Technology Program, certification in CompTia A+ or passing of a hands-on skills test administered by the program instructor. This course contains an overview of networking components and features, and includes information on network security, firewall technologies, and network management. This program provides training leading to the following certifications:
