CCC receives $2 million Title III grant

Coffeyville Community College (CCC) has been actively pursuing Title III grant funding to support new technical programs in Coffeyville.  On July 8, 2008, CCC was notified that the College will receive Title III grant funding in the amount of $397,916 for the period of October 2008 through September 2009, the first year of a five-year grant period ending in 2013. 

CCC will spend the first year preparing to implement an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Construction Technology at the Coffeyville campus (construction is already offered by CCC in Columbus, Kan.). 

By 2010, CCC plans to begin offering the A.A.S. in Precision Machining followed in 2011 with a new A.A.S in Information Technology.  For more information about the new programs at CCC call 620-252-7550.
